Heart of BSL offers British Sign Language training in schools following academy curricula.
Your child can learn the basics of good communication and BSL in school lessons or after school clubs. As well as games, activities and lots of fun, young people aged 7-16 can discover the BSL alphabet, signs for numbers, colours, animals, and other useful vocabulary, as well as deaf awareness.
If your child would like the opportunity to sit a short, basic assessment and gain a nationally recognised certificate – BSL 101, we can arrange this for you.
This Signature accredited qualification is an asset to your child’s achievements and taking part in the clubs is an important step along the road towards a more inclusive society.
